“ For this type of bakery, theyre one of the best! I love stopping in for a quick bite and, especially, enjoy their onion and pork buns. Inexpensive and you can fill up for under 5. Friendly owners who know what theyre doing. ”
“ the lady inside is super nice and patient. The price is fair and the food was awesome. The environment is old but cozy. You can tell they have been in business for a long time ”
“ They have fresh French rolls Pan de Bolillo, Pan frances ”
“ I love how this bakery opens early at 6am. Most of the baked goods should be available when they open. Today I tried their beef bun, chicken bun, egg tarts, ham egg bun and pineapple bun. They all tasted fine and reasonably priced for the Excelsior district. Next I will come back and try their dim sum selection. Good job Hong Kong Bakery staff. ”
“ Crazy good value for authentic food ”
“ Authentic baked goods hong kong style. Had the pineapple and coconut bun, the cocktail bun, and Portuguese tarts. Hong Kong milk tea half sweet was incredible too. I love this place!! ”
“ Excellent customer service!!! I live in South Bay and want to order a birthday cake for a dear friend in San Francisco who is celebrating his 93rd birthday today. They took all the details for my fruitcake order, provided receipt through Square Up and texted me a picture of the cake when it was done. The decorations beautiful and its center piece is a longevity peach, which means blessings of longevity in Chinese culture. There is no way that I could pick up the cake myself today. The store owner kindly offered to have someone deliver the cake for me. And it was delivered on time. I am so appreciative of their above and beyond service. It is my first time ordering from this bakery and certainly wont be my last. ”
“ Had the fried beef curry bun and it was incredible. Insane dough flavor and texture, flavorful filling and for 2.50 an unbeatable value for money. Could have easily had another. I will be back. ”
